New teams will join the ranks of anniversary Ust-Luga Cup regatta participants. Among them is the one of international Dutch company Boskalis, a leading global service provider in dredging industry, offshore energy and construction of inland infrastructure.

Boskalis (Bos & Kalis) was founded in 1910. Originally starting with dredging, Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. – that’s the present name of the company – became not only a leading expert in industry, but significantly expanded it’s business throughout more than centennial history. Being the owners of the largest dredging fleet, nowadays the company is engaged in constructing and maintaining maritime infrastructure in different countries worldwide. Boskalis offers services in offshore energy, terminals maintenance, as well as towage and salvage.

Royal Boskalis Westminster B.V. has a proven track record delivering a wide variety of well-known and demanding projects. During last decade the company completed two major contracts in Australia (channel deepening, port Philippe, Melbourne and expansion of New Castle Harbour), took part in new Abu-Dhabi Port construction, to name but a few.

Boskalis is well known in Russia by it’s services at key projects of maritime and inland infrastructure. Dutch experts took part in construction of Flood Protection Barrier (St.Petersburg Dam) final section, executed preparation of Baltic Sea floor for Nord Stream gas papiline laying, had projects in St.Petersburg, Sochi, Vysotsk, Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk and Murmansk, as well as in ports of Sakhalin and Russian Far East. All in all, Boskalis participated nearly in 30 major projects in Russia for the past 15 years.
